MFG Day 2013 Events: This Friday, October 4th!

MFG Day 2013 Events- This Friday, October 4th!On Thursday, we introduced you all to MFG Day 2013, the second annual national celebration of manufacturing. This year’s manufacturing day is taking place this Friday, October 4th, and we want everyone to get out and get involved!

In our introduction to the event, we mentioned plant tours as a good way to get involved with MFG Day 2013. Manufacturers all around the country are teaming up and opening up their factories to the public, allowing anyone to stop in and take a look at what’s new in the world of manufacturing.

And luckily for anyone here in Nebraska, there are a lot of manufacturers opening up their doors this Friday. Here are the MFG Day 2013 events taking place right here in Nebraska:

A while ago, we compiled a list of 5 of America’s coolest factory tours, where you saw videos of cool factories from around the country. And this Friday, you’ll have the chance to go through and see some of Nebraska’s coolest factories when they open up for manufacturing day.

We definitely recommend that you stop by a couple of these factory tours to see first-hand what Nebraska manufacturing has to offer. Who knows–maybe these tours will inspire Nebraska’s newest generation of skilled workers in manufacturing!
